With a focus on highlighting the significant influence women have in business and athletics, the multi-media marketing company is excited to sponsor the Jacksonville-based golf pro and support her career as a long-term partner.
Money Pages, the multi-media marketing company that helps local businesses reach their target audiences through direct mail, digital, and video marketing, has always worked to support the communities it serves. Now, in line with that mission, the Jacksonville-based company has announced a new partnership with one of the city’s top athletes, LPGA touring pro Amelia Lewis.
The Bolles graduate is only the second Jacksonville native in history to have exempt status on the LPGA, and the first to hold dual status on the LPGA and the Ladies European Tour. Lewis is a 12-year professional veteran and was the third-ranked amateur in the world when she originally turned pro in 2009, winning the 2009 North and South Amateur. Lewis has won over 57 titles in her junior, amateur and professional careers.
Through this new partnership, Lewis says she’s excited to utilize her position to spread the word about Money Pages, especially after meeting with the brand’s CEO, Alan Worley.
“Alan and I hit it off — he’s a big golfer,” said Lewis. “I was looking for a hat sponsor because my previous sponsor term had ended, and we both saw a great opportunity to partner together. Alan and I are both Jacksonville-based entrepreneurs, and our passion for the city and local connection really bonded us. I’ve known about Money Pages my whole life. It is an iconic brand here in Jacksonville and I am thrilled to be partnering with them.”
The Money Pages sponsorship will go beyond just being a hat sponsor and will include branding of Lewis’ golf bags as well.
“This partnership is so exciting for us because, as a company, our mission is so focused on the local communities we serve, so to have a local athlete of Amelia’s caliber as part of our Money Pages family fits right in with our culture,” said Worley. “Amelia exhibits our core values, our passion for the community, and is such a natural fit to be an ambassador for us.”
As part of those core values, Money Pages CFO Darby Addison says teaming up with Lewis also emphasizes Money Pages’ commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs and athletes. “As a woman who has worked in finance for over twenty years and has been CFO of Money Pages for nearly a decade, having Alan and the company support a strong female athlete like Amelia really demonstrates the value we place on the significant influence women have in business and athletics,” she said. “The willingness to throw our support behind her creates a feeling of empowerment for the women here at Money Pages, and on a larger scale reinforces our values as a company.”
Lewis says this passion for supporting women in the workplace was another one of the primary reasons she decided to partner with Money Pages. “I work very hard to be a professional athlete and I’m so excited that the brand recognizes my value,” she said. “I’m excited to partner with a company that will be more than just a sponsor — this will be that type of relationship that will elevate both of our brands over a long-term commitment. I’ve been looking for that relationship forever. It’s going to be a big year for the both of us.”
This is not the first time Money Pages has been involved in professional sports either. As a partner of ASM Global, Money Pages sponsors Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena and promotes major events through their various marketing channels. The brand has also sponsored the Jacksonville Jaguars for many years, has partnered with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Jacksonville Icemen, and is heavily involved in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. “Our franchisees are involved with professional sports in their markets as well, even having the Oakland A’s MLB team featured on the first ever Money Pages cover in Oakland, California,” said Worley. “Having Amelia guide us into the world of the LPGA has been really fun so far and we can’t wait for what’s next!”
As Money Pages continues to grow brand awareness through strategic marketing partnerships like this, the franchise is looking to expand in key markets across the Southeast, including Georgia (Johns Creek, Athens, Augusta), Florida (Tampa – St. Petersburg, Orlando, Tallahassee), North Carolina (Raleigh-Durham, Cary – Apex, Greensboro), South Carolina (Charleston, Columbia, Greenville), and Tennessee (Nashville, Knoxville, Franklin).
